At IBIE 2016, we deployed an emotional VR story, seen by 1/3 of all attendees.
what do you do when a client wants to show their yeast products in VR?
For us, it came down to a simple WWWD... what would Walt Disney do? Over the years, Disney animators and Imagineers have created some of the best corporate-sponsored films and attractions, so we humbly applied some of their tools. Instead of focusing only on the product, we focused on the journey our visitors would take.
Making yeast relatable wasn’t the easiest thing, but our fifth-grader class report from prehistorical times to baking in space got everyone’s attention.
My favorite part of the project was actually working with music composer David Bawiec, who's original score made the journey truly magical.

While we shot in actual industrial labs and bakeries, we couldn't bring ourselves to put our cameras in their ovens. That's where CG came in. Being originally from France, art directing this shot so the crust would be juste parfaite was a dream.
